What to Expect
The Registered Massage Therapist will show up at your house with everything needed for the massage. That includes the Massage table, oil’s/lotion, linens, pillows, table warmer, music etc.
The therapist requires a space large enough to fit a massage table (approximately six feet long and three feet wide) and be able to move around the table during the massage.
The therapist will arrive around ten or fifteen minutes before the appointment time to set up the table and have a brief intake before the session begins. At anytime during the massage if the pressure is to much or you require more just mention it to the therapist and they will adjust as best they can to meet your needs.
After the session is done the therapist will pack up and write you a receipt or email one too you and process payment at the end of the treatment.
Massage Therapy can leave you feeling sore afterwards sometimes for a few days. You may also feel sleepy, or energized it depends on the person. Sometimes massage therapy can feel like it is exasperating the symptoms you already have in your body i.e. headache. However that is not a bad sign it is a sign of healing and given time and regular massage therapy sessions the symptoms will decrease and you will feel better.
